UNITED WE STAND.!  TEJANOS Y TEJANITAS.!

I am proud to be a Tejano.!  {Tejano means Texan} Are You Proud.?  Tejano is a Culture... Not a Category.!  Did you know that there is a Tejano Culture different than a Mexican Culture.?  The same goes with Tejano Music and Mexican Music.!  We are not trying to be different, we are different in our Tejano Culture and our Music Style.!  In our Language... we speak English, Spanish and also Spanglish.!  Spanglish is a mix of some words in Spanish and some words in English spoken in a given sentence.  Why do we speak that way.?  Because we are Tejanos.!   We are proud of who we are and so we are letting the whole world know who we really are.!  But, that does not mean that we are better than anyone else.!  We are Not.!  Let me make that very clear and understood.!

General Speaking... Do we get Recongnition.?  Not a much as other Cultures do.!  Why is that.?  Is it because some people just look the other way and only sees what most interest to them.?  We can easily enbrace other Cultures but why not Tejano Culture.?  This is not new, we have been in exsistance since the early 1500's or even before that.!  I have traced my Ancestors back to the year 1429.  Even before the time Christopher Columus discovered America in 1492.   Still in doubt...look it up.!  The time has come for us to start expressing Ourselves to the world wide web about Our Tejano Culture.!  Lets show or expose our Tejano Music everywhere we go.!  It is about time that we do and the Time is Now.!  Tejano Culture and Tejano Music is on the rise.!  Thou, concerning Tejano, Conjunto and Tex-Mex Music... since the 1960's I have seen great Progress that we have made in the West Coast and/or the Western States.!  Remember the {O.S.T.} Old Spanish Trail.?  Well, now we have the {T.M.T.} Tejano Music Trail.! = Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, Oregon and Washington State Trail.!

Tejano Music is a Genre, like there is any other Music Genre but, have you ever heard about it.?  We mean the real Tejano Music.?  Can you tell the different between Tejano Music and other Genres.?  We can, because we know our music and we know of what we are talking about.!  We also are awared of other music genres too.!  In Tejano Music there is no comparison because our music is Unique.!  Let me encourage you... for you to search on Our Unique Tejano Music & Entertainment in every way you can.!  Viva La Musica Tejana.!  Viva Selena... {May She Rest In Peace.!} The Queen of Tejano Music.!
